This is a model 6520 Dietzen surveyor's elevation measuring grade rod. Handsome wood and brass surveyor's measuring stick. The rod has Dietzen # 6520 noted on one side of the stick. The piece was made in the USA. The stick still has a numbered face with yellow background on it. No split or missing pieces that we can ascertain. The measuring stick in compressed position is 54-3/8” tall, by 2.5" across, by 2.75" wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
