Hand painted bust of a beauty. Paul Duboy who is responsible for the lovely porcelain was French, was born in 1830, entered the Ecole Nationale de Beaux Arts in 1849 at the age of 19, exhibited his work regularly at the Paris Salon from 1853 to 1882, and died in 1887 at the age of 57.

She is missing one of her flowers in her headpiece which also has a broken leaf. There is also damage at the peak of the headpiece.
Also, she may have had a plinth that is now gone. A new one may be produced out of wood or by a ceramicist. less
